Denver Historic Loft
I had the great opportunity to get out of the hills and manage the full remodel of this 2200 sf loft space in downtown Denver, in the historic Volker Building. We leveled the floor with radiant floor heat panels and covered it with maple flooring reclaimed from a high school gym demolition. And from there it was a dance with gifted craftsmen and women doing glass tile and tadelakt plaster on curving walls, hand-made ceramic door wraps and tile steps, local cottonwood counters and sink bases, and a custom metal fireplace, door surrounds and range hood. The project was featured in Colorado Urban Home magazine in 2013.
