Custom Mountain Garage

I met Marci 20 years ago while buying her leftover adobe blocks from a beautiful passive solar home she just finished. We kept in touch over the years as natural building nerds, and she reached out when she was ready to design and build this detached garage for her new EV. She wanted lots of light, low maintenance, and durable finishes to blend with her home and meet stringent wildfire-zone building requirements. We came up with this salt-box roof design with a 2.4kW photovoltaic array mounted on a standing seam steel roof.
